Chief Officer - Chemical Tanker

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Oversee cargo operations and ensure compliance with international regulations.
• Manage the deck department and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
• Conduct daily vessel inspections and maintenance.
• Assist the Master in navigation and route planning.
• Manage crew schedules and ensure all personnel are properly trained and certified.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Coordinate with shore-based teams for cargo planning and logistics.
• Handle emergency situations and ensure the safety of the crew and vessel.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Chief Officer or similar role on a Chemical Tanker.
• Valid Master Mariner's License (MML) or equivalent.
• STCW Basic Safety Training (BST) and Advanced Firefighting (AFF) certificates.
• Experience with cargo operations and handling of chemical substances.
• Proficient in English, with additional language skills an advantage.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Experience with ECDIS navigation systems and other modern maritime technologies.
